In 2007 Capture All Limited won the Tender for the provision of a Document Scanning Service to Renfrewshire Council during the move of location to Gilmour House and the return to the refurbished Renfrewshire House.
This was a complex project which enabled the Council to have vital documentation removed and returned in a digital format, thus freeing storage space and aiding the relocation process. Capture All also assisted with the supply of data in a suitable format for importing into the Council’s document management system, Anite @Work.
Almost all of the Council’s departments utilised our services, with a wide variety of documentation coming from Planning and Transport, Finance, Housing, Social Work and Legal Services.
Timings were crucial in the “ exodus” from the Cotton Street building where staff required to have access to information as soon as they were re located to Gilmour House. The same applied to the eventual move back to Renfewshire House. The process was managed and facilitated by Capture All in a timely and efficient manner with the help and co-operation of the Council’s staff.
Although the move has been completed, we continue to work with several Departments within the Council, and during the course of the last three years, we have scanned in the region of 10 million Documents.
