Barnardo’s Glasgow offices decided to move offices last year. To streamline their new set up, they decided move to a digital filing system. Knowing they needed help to establish a new system, Barnardo’s put the contract out to tender.

We submitted our proposal late last year and found out we won the tender shortly afterwards. Our team was extremely excited about the opportunity to help with Barnardo’s work and got straight down to planning the project.

We began work earlier this year, collecting around 50 crates of documents from Barnardo’s two offices in Glasgow and shipped them to our purpose-built facility in Falkirk. We used our in-house courier for the project but could have arranged for secure collection if the offices were further away.

All documents were then prepared, processed and scanned. We completed the work well within the agreed time frame. Barnardo’s digital files were returned to them on DVDs and the original documents were destroyed after we received authorisation from the charity.

Barnardo’s use a bespoke document management system so all digital files were structured ready for immediate importing.

We’re proud of the work we did with Barnardo’s and know that we contributed in some small way to the betterment of hundreds of families.
