We have the necessary equipment which allows us to accurately scan and capture from the most demanding materials, Minute Books, Technical Manuals, Parish Records, Reference Books and Journals, all easily processed to the required specification and output to the format of choice.
The ability to scan and OCR images directly from a bound book is now possible without the requirement to remove the bindings from the book, but is also available at an affordable cost.

This is a specialist area of our business, and is made possible through the use of a bespoke Book Scanner, which allows us to capture images upto A2 in size and then using the inbuilt software to crop, deskew and to straighten out the curvature of the text if necessary.
Once scanned, we can "tidy up" the images, apply borders etc., to give a clean legible page which can then have Optical Character Recognition (OCR) applied to enable full text searching.
