Drawings are normally scanned at between 200 - 300 dpi, although where specialist attention to detail or vectorisation is required we can scan at resolutions up to 800 dpi.

We will always endeavour to obtain the best possible quality from your originals whether they are blue prints, tracings; on linen or even on card.

Your Drawing scans can be supplied on CD Rom in the file format of your choice, either complete with ALCHEMY  document Search and Retrieval Software, standalone or merged together with other related documentation.

Additional post scanning work can be carried out on drawings, such as cropping, repairing of lines and of course vectorisation.

Book scanning

The ability to scan and OCR images directly from a bound book is now possible without the requirement to remove the bindings from the book, but is also available at an affordable cost throughout Scotland and the UK including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Inverness and Perth.

Microfiche and Microfilm Scanning

An ever-growing part of our business is the conversion of previously microfilmed data into a digital format.

This service eliminates the requirement for expensive microfilm reader / printers and facilitates simple and easy access to all your archived information directly from your desktop PC.
